Meltem Turker

With 20 years of experience in the property industry, Meltem always had a very clear vision to create a global property brand born from Turkey. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Meltem completed her master’s degree in Real Estate Development from Istanbul Technical University and Sustainable Development & Construction from New York University (USA). 

Just after founding GRED in Istanbul in 2008, in the early stages of the company, Meltem managed a property portfolio of clients that increased from $18 million to $120 million in just 4 years. In 2015, Meltem expanded GRED’s global footprint by opening a new head office in London. 

Through her work, Meltem has built up an extensive network of both personal and professional global high-net-worth clients, that she continues to serve both in Turkey and worldwide. Today, Meltem is continuously expanding the business by driving GRED’s global sales expansion and strategies. 

Meltem has a keen interest in sustainability and has completed academic work focusing on two major green building systems in the UK and USA. She is a superb negotiator who wins people’s hearts and minds. A natural-born entrepreneur, she has managed to turn her passion into work – making her one of the few who truly love what they’re doing. She is a cat person and above all devoted mother of Leo Can.
